Source: Authors, 2022 INTRODUCTION This project aims to observe the Englishization in the city of Lleida in Catalonia. In order words, we, students, went out to the streets of Lleida to find out how the English language blooming and taking “its” place within the culture of this Catalan city. The project relies on the crucial idea that becoming aware of the city’s languages provides insights into how society and languages are interconnected and shape the community ’ s behavior.
